wifiでデータを飛ばすEye-Fi

どーも、僕です。
最近こんなものを発見しました。遅すぎでしょうか？カメラなどで利用するSDカードのデータをわざわざカメラから出すことなくパソコンへwifi経由で転送できてしまうカードEye-Fiです。

これはかなり便利なんじゃあないでしょうか！！？？カメラで撮った写真のデータをいちいちカードの抜き差しをして行うのは面倒ですね。
うーん、すばらしいアイデア！

Think about Phelps

Michael Phelps has recently become the flavor of the week.

Apparently, someone took a picture of him smoking weed. Marijuana is prohibited by not only U.S. law, but also by the WADA(World Anti-Doping Agency). But I felt that it was not that big of an issue in the U.S. Going by the few articles I've read, Phelps isn't facing much in the way of condemnation. He merely lost his sponsorship deal with Kellogg. If he were Kitagima, a Japanese gold medalist, his career would be over. He would be black listed in Japanese society. I think American culture and Japanese culture are totally different in this regard. Even though inhaling weed is illegal, it is a common occurrence in the U.S. I've seen on more than one occasion people here who smoke weed. Public judgment is different between countries and each has its own sliding measurement of what's right and what's wrong.

I found a funny sentence about Phelps in New York Times. It was the last line in an article, and it read "The chlorine is good for you." Chlorine is a chemical that is added to pool water. I think the writer just wanted to tell him to practice a lot to win more gold medals.

Personally, I don't care if he smokes weed. But it is breaking the law. I junt want to say it's better not to make a problem because he is a great star in the world. It is not good for his kid funs and problems are media's cup of tea.

Air Sharingを使う

どーも、僕です。
最近ipod touchに色んなソフトをインストールして遊んでいます。そして最近見つけたのがAir Sharingというソフト。自分のパソコンに共有フォルダを作ってそこへ色んなファイル、画像やpdf、office関係のファイルをそこへぽんぽん入れればipodへ転送ができてしまうのです。今まで紙に印刷して持ち歩いていたのが、ipodへ転送して持ち歩けます！うーん、すばらしい！僕のはiphomeではないため外へ出るとネットへの接続はできません（たまにセキュリティかかってない誰かん家のにつなげるけど）。お出かけの際、地図を持ち歩くのにもいいですねー。色んなドキュメントを持ち歩けるのも便利です！

どうやら、こいつはwebDAVを使っているようです。

igoogle、上手く動かないじゃん！

どーも、僕です。
今日はigoogleの話。僕は最近igoogleを使い始めました。メールチェック、お友達のブログチェックをいっぺんにここからできるようにするために！ここを覗けばどんなメールがきてて、誰のブログが更新されているかが一目で把握できちゃう！あっちこっち巡回しなくてよいのです。

ただ、いまいちgoogleの仕組みがよくわからない。google.comでもgoogle.co.jpでもどちらでもこのサービスがつかえるのだが、つい数時間前からgoogle.comで僕のigoogleを立ち上げるとガジェット、モジュール？なんていうの？？を読み込んでくれないのだ。どうなっちまったんだいgoogleさんよー。

こんな感じで全く機能せず。


もしかしてと思って、アドレスをgoogle.co.jpに変えたらばっちり機能しました。

っていうことは、google.comのサーバがいかれてるのでしょうか？僕のアカウント情報は取得しているようなので。

Spring is around the corner

Reacetlly I would say that spring is aroud the corner even though today it is still the beginning of February. I can see some "Sakura" on the street. Also I feel something like the smell of spring. It means I sneeze a lot and my nose is running. Also my eyes are a little bit itchy. Yeah, I have a hay fever.

6 years ago I went to a hospital and a doctor told me I tested positive for hay fever. Actually I thought I never had hay fever but it was silly thinking. My blood test showed I have allergies to cedar and cypress pollen. When I was in Tokyo, my case was not only because of pollen but also air pollution. So if I move another place, my nose is better than when I lived in Tokyo because I guess Tokyo's air is one of the worst in the world. In fact, when I lived in Fukuoka, I was good and I didn't sneeze as much. Also, here in the bay area, it is not countryside but better than Tokyo I guess.

Anyway, I sneeze a lot and my "hay fever season" is coming even if now it is still only February. I don't know if this is the bay area's typical climate or if it was a mild winter. I should ask someone about that.

Sakura is already blooming!!

今日も吉野家へ

どーも、僕です。
今日も吉野家へ。そして前回できなかった汁ダクを頼んでみました。ハイ、問題。つゆだくはなんというでしょうか？行く前に調べておいたのですが、Extra juiceで何とかなります。この注文をした後にジュースはどうするか？ペプシ？マウンテンデュー？みたいに聞かれて通じてない・・・と思いましたが大丈夫でした。そして食べてみましたが、他のサイトで報告があった通りExtra juiceを注文すると猫まんま状態まで汁を入れられてしまいました。うーん、汁ダクの概念はまだまだ外人には分からないらしい・・・なんていいましょうか、汁入れすぎなんだよー！これじゃあ牛丼ならぬ、牛汁です。次回はa little extra juiceと頼むべきでしょうか！？前回も書きましたが、やっぱり肉の量はアメリカンサイズ。日本と違って満足な量です。regularでも肉は大盛りな量！それにしても、吉野家で牛丼withマウンテンデュー。何ともアメリカンな組み合わせです。味噌汁もいただきましたが、インスタント味噌汁以下でしょうか。次回は間違いなくクラムチャウダーです。クラムチャウダーはいけてます！

というわけで、またもや牛丼いただきました。まだ他のメニューはチャレンジしてません。次回かな。

I joined 5k fun run.

Last Sunday, I joined 5k fun run in San Francisco. In this event, there were about 10000 people who joined. I joined with some of my friends. We went to San Francisco before 6 am because we expected that many people would want to go San Francisco and there were some traffic jam. But it was not as we have expected. When we arraived, on parking lot which was near start line, there were no cars! We arrived there too early!! We ate breakfast in the car and went to the start line. As expected, there were a few people in there. At that time, it was 7 am and it was so cold(May be temperature was under 5 Degree Celcius or 41 Degree Fahrenheit). But some people wore just tank top and I couldn't believe them. What's going on!? Are you kidding me!?

Any way, I ran 5k meters and I reaally enjoyed it.
Though I didn't prepare for it, I don't know why but I don't have muscle soreness.
